9.22 Arc Array Tapping


Arc array tapping means tapping holes in an arc array.



Geometry


         

X CenterX

The distance from the origin of workpiece to the center of the arc in X direction.

Y CenterY

The distance from the origin of workpiece to the center of the arc in Y direction.

Z StartZ

The distance from the origin of workpiece to the upper surface of removed area in Z direction.

D Depth

Depth of removal.

R Radius

Radius of the arc.

S StartAng

Take the positive X direction as 0, and counter clockwise is positive. The angle of the line from center to the first point in this array.

A DeltaAng

The angular difference between two neighboring holes.

N Count

Count of holes.

Lift Z up a fixed distance after every step of tapping until reaching the designated depth. Left-handed thread.

Lift Z up a fixed distance after every step of tapping until reaching the designated depth. Right-handed thread.

P Pitch

Pitch of the thread.

Q StepDepth

Depth per drilling of peck mode.

N PauseSec

Pause for a while when it reached the bottom of a hole. This setting is only valid on simple tapping.
