1.1 Machine Introduction

Power supply

Single phase 220VAC. If the utility power of your region is 110VAC, 110V to 220V convertor is needed. The power cord used on i83 is the same as the power cord of PC.

Spindle holder

A BLDC motor driven by inverter is used as spindle. User can also put a woodworking router on it according to the needs. Please notice that the inner diameter of spindle holder is 65 mm.

Main Control Unit TPCU

TPCU is the main control unit. There is a 10.4" touch TFT color LCD, an emergency stop switch, a rotary knob and two keys at the front side.

Battery box

The i83 system work with Shihlin Electric SDP servo motors, which are equipped with absolute encoder. The backup batterys are required, and the battery box is located on the right side of i83.

Dust collector

Mount the dust collector on the spindle and integrate it with vacuum cleaner. It can prevent chips from splashing during processing.
